If something is not working, or you would like to suggest an improvement to Reconcile, we read every message.

i.Getting in Touch

Reconcile is built and maintained by Credoworks. If you have a question or you have run into trouble, write to us and we will do our best to help.

We read every message we receive. Response time is typically within five business days; for urgent issues, please include "URGENT" in your subject line.

ii.Reporting an Issue

When something is not working, a little detail goes a long way. If you can, please include:

  • Your device model and iOS version
  • Whether you are a subscriber, and roughly when you subscribed
  • A brief description of what you were doing
  • What you expected to happen, and what actually happened
  • A screenshot, if relevant

Because Reconcile keeps everything on your device, we cannot see anything you have entered. We do not need to. We can almost always diagnose an issue from a clear description and a screenshot.

iii.Frequently Asked

Does Reconcile replace going to confession?

No. Reconcile is a preparation and walkthrough aid — examination of conscience, prayers, and a guide through the sacrament. The sacrament itself takes place with a priest in a confessional or another appointed place.

Is my information shared with my parish or my priest?

No. Nothing you record in Reconcile is sent anywhere — not to us, not to a parish, not to a priest. What you bring to confession is between you, your confessor, and God.

How do I back up my entries?

Reconcile stores everything locally on your device, encrypted. There is currently no cloud backup or sync; we are weighing it carefully because adding a server changes the privacy story of the app. For now, your entries live only on the device you wrote them on, and we recommend keeping your device backed up via iCloud (Apple's encrypted backup will include the app's data).

I got a new phone. How do I move my entries over?

If you restore your new phone from an encrypted iCloud or Mac backup, the app's data will come along with it. A fresh install on a new device will start with empty data — there is no account to sign into.

How do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed in iOS Settings under your Apple ID → Subscriptions, or directly in the App Store app. You can change plans, view next-billing-date, or cancel at any time from there.

I restored a previous purchase but premium isn't unlocking.

Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID you used to subscribe originally, then tap "Restore Purchases" in the app's settings. If it still doesn't unlock, write to us with the Apple ID email so we can check the subscription status on our end.

Will Reconcile be available on Android?

The current version is iOS only. An Android release is planned; we'll share news here when we have a date.

The parish finder isn't finding anything.

The parish finder needs location permission to look up nearby Catholic parishes. Check that location access is enabled for Reconcile in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services. If your area genuinely has limited coverage in the place database, please write to us and we will look into it.

iv.Feature Requests

We are a small studio and we release slowly. We read every suggestion, even when we can't reply to each one. If something about Reconcile should be different, please tell us.
